Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor, and activist. After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as a child actor. From 2013 to 2016, she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She gained fame due to her appearances in TV commercials. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being featured in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At two years of age her parents and she immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. The financial struggles of her family caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She earned a GED and then obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
